Daily Readings: Joshua 15 and Psalm 15.

In Joshua 15:19, Caleb’s daughter said to him: “‘Do me a special favour. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.’ So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs.” It strikes me that if she hadn’t asked she might never have received, and when she did ask, she received far more than she had expected. Let’s be bold today in approaching our Heavenly Father.

Abba, Father, You have given us an inheritance in Your Kingdom. Please grant us a fresh measure of the Living Water of Your Spirit today. Let us drink deeply from the River of Life and be refreshed and strengthened for this day. As we have asked, so we now receive. Amen!
