Daily Reading: Ephesians 4:1-2

Heavenly Father, I long to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Lord. I long to display Your glory and beauty in the world today through a life of true holiness and righteousness. This is my holy calling and a central purpose of my everyday life. This day, whatever my circumstances may be, please empower me by the Holy Spirit to be completely humble and gentle – loving others with a selfless love that chooses to honour them above myself, to bear with them patiently, and to seek their highest best in all things and with every ability, resource and power I possess. Gentle Jesus, make me like You. Amen.
