Daily Reading: John 7:37-39
Jesus, Glorious Lord of Life, in You are all the fountains of life, and by You every thirst is quenched. Today I approach Your heavenly throne of grace, thirsty for Your presence, Your love, Your peace, grace forgiveness and restoration, Your comfort, courage, confidence and power. I come to You, trusting in Your promises and relying on Your faithfulness to fulfil them. Please satisfy my thirst through the ministry of the indwelling Holy Spirit. In the silence of this moment of prayer I receive His ministry now …
In the silence, express your particular thirst to the Lord … and then consciously receive from the Holy Spirit …
Holy Spirit, as I move through this day, may all that I have received from You flow through me to others. May Jesus’ presence, love, peace, power, and everything else You have ministered to me flow through me to others, to bless their lives and to minister the Kingdom of heaven on earth. Amen.
