Daily Reading: John 14:15-29

Lord Jesus, I love You and I long to please You through the life I lead. Please fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit, just as You promised.

From a place of humble hunger I pray: Holy Spirit, be with me and within me. Reveal the beauty and majesty of Jesus to me and fill me with His life. Grant me deep intimacy with Abba Father. Soak me in His love and cultivate in me an ever-deepening love for HIm and for Jesus, His Son, my Lord. Guide me in the Truth and never let me be led astray. Empower me to live in step with the truth of the Father’s will, just as Jesus teaches me. In those moments of temptation, when I am in danger of falling, remind me of the truth, and guide me back to safety. And through Your ministry of the presence, power and love of Jesus, grant me perfect peace. Amen.
