Daily Reading: Acts 3:1-26

Lord Jesus, I marvel at the confidence and faith Peter and John displayed as they followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit and ministered Your healing miracle to the man at the Beautiful Gate. I marvel at Your power put on display to restore that man’s health, wholeness and dignity. Like the crowd, I am filled with wonder and amazement at Your power and love.

Lord Jesus, I marvel just as much at the confidence and faith that Peter and John displayed as they followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit to proclaim that this miracle was evidence that the Heavenly Father had raised You from the dead, to explain that the power of Your Name had effected this healing miracle, and to call the crowd to repent of their sins and turn back to God in Your Name.

Forgive me, Lord, when I ignore or even resist the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Forgive me when I miss the opportunities You provide me to minister Your power and to proclaim the Good News of Your saving grace to others. Help me to see and to seize my opportunities today, and to avail myself to be Your instrument for healing, salvation and transformation. Let Your Kingdom come and Your power and glory be displayed through my life today. Amen!
