Psalm of the Day: Psalm 2

King Jesus – High King of the Cosmos and all Eternity,
I enthrone You again as the King of my life,
and I willingly submit to Your holy reign.
I rejoice that:
You rule over me in perfect power, moved by perfect love;
You rule over me, inspiring my decisions, but never forcing Your will on me with the ‘rod of iron’ You have every right to use;
You rule over me in self-sacrificial love.
It is my honour and joy to submit to Your loving and life-giving rule and reign.
Today, with joy:
I choose to love You,
I choose to serve You,
I choose to worship You,
I choose to enthrone You!
May my life bring glory and honour to You alone, King Jesus.
