LORD, our Lord,
Great Creator and Life-Giver
I am so humbled by Your majesty and glory,
on display for all to see.
What a mystery it is!
You created us in Your own image
as the crown of this Cosmos.
You gave us the honour of ruling
over the earth and all its creatures.
Father, forgive me for the many times I have failed
in my responsibility towards my corner of creation.
All too often, I abdicate authority and turn inwards,
thinking only of myself
and acting only in my own interests.
But You, LORD!
I am so humbled by Your majesty and glory,
on display for all to see.
You govern eternally for our good and Your glory.
You never fail.
No enemy can ever overcome You.
No temptation ever trips You up.
I am so humbled by Your majesty and glory,
on display for all to see.
May my life bring you the honour and glory You deserve, today and every day. Amen!
