Holy and Almighty GOD
I know You love us all and long for us to love You too,
to seek You and to worship You,
to pursue the knowledge of Your will,
to pray to You and humbly obey.
Yet I know that we all fall short.
We have all gone astray.
Forgive me, LORD:
My prayerlessness,
My lukewarm worship,
My lethargy,
My downright disobedience,
The terrible things I have thought and said and done.
In Your mercy, LORD:
Forgive me,
Transform me,
Empower me to live a life pleasing to You,
Be with me and bless me
with Your presence and Your love,
Protect me and prosper me.
In Your mercy Lord!
