LORD,
I long to be in Your presence,
I long to worship You face to face.
But first,
may my life be an offering of worship every day.
May I bring You great delight by obeying Your will:
Honouring the truth sincerely and
Refusing to slander;
Honouring my friends and neighbours joyfully and
Refusing to gossip;
Honouring the obedient gladly, and
Refusing the company of those who reject You;
Honouring my promises consistently, and
Refusing to be swayed by the cost;
Honouring the poor generously, and
Refusing to be corrupted by bribery.
May my life be steadfast and secure –
a living sacrifice of worship, and
a delight to You.
