O LORD, my God:
You are perfect in Your kindness, goodness and love.
You are righteous,
You are faithful,
You are full of unfailing love and mercy.
I trust in You with my whole heart.
Lord, see how I long to obey You and to please You.
Teach me Your ways.
Show me how to walk in them
with absolute integrity and reverence.
Please mercifully forgive me
for the many times I have failed to delight Your heart.
Please be with me –
and I will never be lonely, weak or unsure of my path.
Please lift off me
the dark cloud of anxiety
and the heavy burden of worry.
Breathe into me
Your deep and boundless peace to sustain me.
Please protect me and deliver me from danger,
both seen and unseen.
Grant me victory
over every temptation and every challenge.
Keep me in Your path of goodness and integrity –
for there I find perfect security and rest.
LORD,
I look to You!
I call to You!
I trust in You!
I love You!
I will follow You!
