Psalm 32

Loving Heavenly Father,

I marvel as I remember how, when I was far from You,
and my sin was draining the life out of me,
You did not abandon me.
Somehow, You turned my heart towards You
and opened my eyes to see the futility
of my life apart from You.

I marvel as I remember how, the moment I responded to Your love,
the moment I stepped into Your Truth,
the moment I honestly confessed my sin
and cried for mercy,
You forgave me
unreservedly
and set me free.

I marvel as I remember how, in the cleansing flood of Your mercy and grace,
You washed away my guilt and shame.
You embraced me as Your child
and showered me with Your love!

Loving Heavenly Father,

You have become my Hiding Place,
my Safe Refuge,
my Shelter from life’s storms and floods.
You teach me Your ways
and set my feet on the path of life.
You gently guide my steps.
You protect me by Your unfailing love.

I rejoice in all You have done!
I rejoice in You today!
