Psalm 34

LORD, my Gracious God,
I will bring You thanks and praise forever
for all the good and glorious things You have done.
You have been so, so good to me!

When I prayed from the prison of despair,
You answered me and set me free.
When I was oppressed, I turned my eyes to You,
You restored my joy and set me free.
When I was helpless, I called on You,
You came to my aid and saved me.
When I was in danger, I cried to You,
You sent Your angelic warrior to protect and rescue me.
LORD, my Gracious God,
I will bring You thanks and praise forever!

You are so good to me,
LORD, my Protector and Provider!
I long to honour and obey You.
I long to bring You delight.
I long to honour You in every word and action.
I long to delight You by turning from every sin
and pursuing peace in every situation.
LORD, my Gracious God,
I long for my life to bring You thanks and praise forever!

When I cry to You,
You hear me.
When I call to You,
You listen.
When I am in trouble,
You rescue me.
When I am discouraged,
You are with me.
When I have lost all hope,
You step in and save me,
You preserve me,
You spare my life.

I will bring You thanks and praise forever
for all the good and glorious things You have done.
You have been so, so good to me.
LORD, my Gracious God.
