O LORD,
You are very great,
and so worthy to be praised!
By Your outrageous saving grace
You’ve made my heart Your home
And by Your sacred presence within me
You’ve set my life apart for Your glory.
So, may my brokenness be turned to beauty,
and my sorrow turned to joy,
may Your peace be my inheritance
and Your glory guard my soul.
When I am under siege today,
and surrounded by trouble on every side,
may Your Spirit grant me courage and power
to overcome the foe.
Lord, my life will be a witness
to Your great saving power,
and with every word I speak
I will declare
the wonders of Your unfailing love.
May I bring You praise in all I do
and spread Your fame far and wide
May I live by Your justice every day
and radiate Your joy everywhere I go.
May all who see Your life in mine
be moved to truly pray:
“God, be our God too,
our Guide for endless days.”
