Psalm 50

LORD Almighty,
You are radiant in the beauty of Your holiness
and Your Word goes out to all.
All who seek You will see Your glory.
All who listen will hear Your voice.

LORD, my Righteous Judge,
Forgive me for ever being blind to Your glory
and going through the motions of worship
without truly engaging my heart and mind.
You are God alone.
You deserve to be worshiped
with every fibre of my being.

Forgive me for ever being blind to Your glory
and harbouring the thought
that I was doing You a kindness,
by coming to You in worship.
You are God alone.
You need nothing from me.

Forgive me for ever being hardened to Your Word,
and paying lip service to You
while living completely out of step
with You and Your commands.
You are God alone.
You deserve my life laid down
in spirit and in truth.

LORD Almighty, I repent today!
I open my eyes to Your Glory.
I open my ears to Your Word.
I give You heartfelt thanks and praise
for Who You are and all You’ve done.
I lay my life down now
in grateful surrender
and dedicate myself to living my whole life
in joyful obedience and humble worship.
