Psalm 76

Almighty God, I worship You,
I celebrate Your goodness and glory,
dwelling among Your people,
shining in splendour and majesty,
filling us with awe and wonder.
Lord, You are our Great Defender.

So, when danger confronts me
and darkness seeks to overwhelm me,
Arise in power, O Lord.
Drive out the darkness
by Your perfect presence.
Defeat every danger
by Your mighty power.
Keep me safe
in the palm of Your loving hand.

I worship You, Almighty God.
Those who strive to dethrone You
only serve to reveal Your greatness and power.
You cannot be overthrown,
for You are God alone.
The powerful of this world
shall stand in awe of You,
and all shall bow low in worship.

All glory be to You alone.
