Psalm 80

Almighty God,
my Wonderful Shepherd,
hear my humble prayer:

In Your mercy and love,
and by Your great power,
bring me home to You,
and restore me to the centre of Your perfect will.

I have sinned against You, Lord.
I walked away,
and my life fell apart.

Here, in my self-imposed separation,
I see so clearly the disaster I have brought on myself.
I remember Your saving grace,
and the joy of becoming Your very own by faith.
I remember the abundance of my life in Your presence.
Forgive me Lord, I pray!

In Your mercy and love,
and by Your great power,
bring me home to You,
and restore me to the centre of Your perfect will.

Rescue me and protect me
as Your beloved child.
Keep me in the palm of Your loving hand.
I will never turn away again.

Almighty God,
my Wonderful Shepherd,
thank You for hearing my humble prayer.
