Lord Almighty, You are my God
I come to You in weakness and helplessness,
in utter dependence on You, I pray:
Save me, LORD!
When I am in danger:
Lord, You are my God
Show me Your will and Your way
and grant me the power to humbly obey.
Comfort my fears and help me to trust
and step out in faith every day.
And if I should fail,
still, You are my God
So show me Your mercy, Your grace,
Your patience and kindness and unfailing love
Your gentle forgiveness today.
In triumph and tragedy,
Lord, You are my God:
The God of all wonders, power and might
of holiness, justice and truth;
and God of the ordinary, everyday things
of cleansing, redemption and grace.
Lord, You are my God!
Now and forever, Amen!
