Psalm 91

LORD,
You are the utterly trustworthy
Defender and Protector
of all who run to You
and remain in You,
taking cover under Your sheltering care.

You shield us
from dangers
and plagues by day,
from evil attacks by night.
All around us, others fall
but we stand firm in You
by faith
for You, LORD,
are our Defender
You, Most High,
are our Protector.

You guard us, protect us,
hold us and keep us
safe in Your arms of love –
safe as we step up
to love You and to serve You
safe from the enemy’ snares.

We love You, our LORD!
We call on Your Name!
You answer our fervent cry
You save us, protect us,
rescue and keep us
safe in Your arms of love.
Now and forever.
