Psalm 102

LORD, my Lord,
Desperate and helpless,
to You I cry.
Wasting away in agony,
to You I cry.
Abandoned and isolated,
rejected and alone,
to You I cry.
When it seems that even You have turned on me
and rejected me in Your anger,
to You I cry.

For, even in my darkest night
of confusion and despair,
You are King forever!
Full of compassion and mercy,
unfailing in love and faithfulness,
I know
You will hear my cry and listen to my plea.
You will set me free from my affliction.
You will reveal Your greatness
and rebuild my life.
I know this with all my heart!

Lord,
all who see what You have done
will praise Your Name
and worship at Your feet.
For You are God Almighty,
Eternal and Unchanging.
Now and forever. Amen!
