Psalm 120

LORD, whenever I call to You
in times of trouble
You answer me
and come to my aid.

When I find myself suffering
on account of
the lies and deception of others,
on account of
the cruel, savage slander, and false accusations
of those whose only interest is conflict and strife,
come to my aid once again, LORD.

I commit myself to Your care
and trust You to bring about justice.
Amen.
