LORD, I lift my eyes to You.
In absolute dependence
I long to obey.
Please give me resources
and power each day
to perfectly walk
in Your beautiful way.
When I am mocked
or treated with scorn
for loving You, Lord,
for obeying Your Word,
please give me the power,
along with the grace
and mercy to share
when they spit in my face.
Amen.
