Psalm 130

LORD, hear my desperate cries,
my calls for help at night.

In times of dark despair, my Lord,
I trust Your grace alone,
I come by faith alone,
in reverent fear and awe.

I wait for You, my God and King,
my faith is in Your Word,
I wait in certain hope.
I wait

as watchmen wait
for dawn,
as watchmen wait
and wait
for dawn.

I trust in You, my Lord, my God,
in Your unfailing love,
and in Your sovereign care, my King,
to save me from my sin.
