Psalm 138

LORD,
I seek Your face, I praise Your Name.
I thank You, Lord, with all my heart.
I bow my knee in awe and honour
to glorify Your Name.

You are God alone!
O God of unfailing love and faithfulness,
O God of absolute authority,
O God who answers every prayer
and gives me strength each day,
I worship You and give You praise!

The kings of earth will give You praise,
O Promise-keeping God,
O God of awesome, wondrous deeds,
O God of unimaginable glory,
O God exalted high over all,
who descends to care for the humble
and pour Your kindness on the lowly.
They worship You and give You praise.

And I, when overwhelmed by trouble,
will thank You, Lord, and bring Your praise.
You keep me safe, defend my cause.
You save my life by Your great power.
You keep Your Word and fulfil every promise.
I bow my knee in awe and honour
to glorify Your Name.
