Psalm 142

LORD, thank You
for always listening to me,
hearing my complaints,
and understanding my troubles.
Despondent and confused,
attacked, abandoned and alone,
I call to You.
You know my heart.
You understand.
You know exactly what I should do.

So I call to You, my Lord,
my Saviour and Defence.
You are all I want.
You are all I need.
Save me
from my pit of despair and distress.
Bring me back to praise You,
in the assembly of Your People,
for all Your goodness to me.
Amen.
