Psalm 144

I praise You, Lord, my Protector
for You shelter me in Your love,
You save me and protect me by Your grace.

Who am I
that You should love me
and care for me as You do?
I am as fragile and fleeting as a puff of wind.

But You, Lord,
when I call to You for help,
You tear the veil between heaven and earth,
You reach in from glory to take my hand,
to rescue and to save.
I marvel at Your unfailing love and mercy,
and I will sing and make music
in praise of Your goodness
as long as I live.

Lord, I pray,
by Your great mercy and love,
save me from every danger,
bless and prosper my family,
grant me miraculous productivity
in the work of my hands,
and may all my initiatives succeed
to the glory and praise of Your Name –
my Lord and my God!
Amen.
