Daily Reading: Psalm 33

Almighty and Ever-living God, You are worthy to be worshipped and adored. You are perfect in goodness, faithfulness and unfailing love. In Your love, You rejoice to draw Your children home to right standing with You.

The vast starry skies in all their beauty, the endless oceans in their wild displays of power, all the glories of creation point us home to You, the God who holds it all together by the power of Your will.

Lord, You formed our hearts, and You have chosen us to be Your very own. Your eyes are firmly on us, Your children, to protect and deliver all who hope in Your unfailing love. I wait in hope for You, Lord, my help and my shield. In You my heart rejoices. Today I choose to trust in Your holy name, to put my hope in You alone, and to run home to Your unfailing love. Amen.
